Ranger Bows

Hey.
I've been playing a ranger alot recently and have had a really hard time finding a good bow for him.

There are alot of awesome bows in the game, but none or very few attainable for a non raiding charachter.

I very rarely if ever see any bows being sold in auction or on listsold..
Am I alone with this problem? Or is there perhaps a need for more mid range bows for those whom have made 65 and can't / dont have time to raid?
 
What exactly is a "good bow" in your eyes? Is it better than, say, Swiftshot, a pristine Kedgemetal Crossbow or a bow from the Thurg bounties? Because those are all nice options relatively easy to attain.
 
I'd be pretty happy with a Kedgemetal Crossbow, but I dont think I could get into a raid to get one, and havent seen any bows for sale in the last 2.5 weeks I have been actively searching for one. Have been going through listsold once or twice per day and watching auction channel.

I might be completly wrong here but Im just getting the impression the game could use a few more bows..

I'm pretty sure some bows with actual competitive stats were added during the fletching revamp that happened a while back. Might be worth looking into.

According to the wiki, he is already using the best bow fletching can make with regular components (not counting Swiftshot or other quests that end with a fletching combine).
 
find a kedgemetal crossbow or crippling longbow and tell me about it and ill buy and send it to you
 
Lookin' good, Kedrin! I wonder if you can somehow link it to whenever someone clicks on the "Archery" link in the wiki.
 
The bounty quest bows are pretty good once you get good augs for them. Also yeah get a crippling longbow. Swiftshot has good stats but F mashing ranged attack that much.

Also added proc %'s to the bows that have that information on the wiki.

Treantwood Crossbow
Telekinetic Arch
Searwood Bow
Deepsea Bow
Celestial Longbow
Bow of the Twin Tongues
Arc of the Eclipsing Void

I know of some very low end bows I have missed, I just don't see the point in adding bows to the list that are lower then some of the Fletching bows.

I had this bow called "Bow of the Lost" for a little...I forget its stats but I know it had a pretty decent ratio and procced a lifetap of some sort.
