Rain

I've noticed in all the outdoor zones there is about 1/2 rain as there is sun

The thunder is really loud and I don't know how to shut if off, so is the rain noise.

Is it possible to make it rain a little less? It's can start to really drive people insane after a while, Thanks.

Doesn't anyone know how to turn rain and thunder off?

I dont know how to turn just the rain and thunder off, but...You can make a .txt file with nothing in it called "nosound" and put it in your everquest folder to disable all sounds from loading when you start the game.

Under your options tab, there should be a slider for enviornmental sounds. you can turn that down and it should make the rain softer .. well have less volume.

did you just ask the GM gods to make it rain less for you LOL.... make a druid get that character to 61 and use Call to Tarhansar. problem solved just keep the Druid with you through all the zone so you don't go insane.

Hmmm turning the volume down isnt much help because it turns the volume down for All the other sound effects too.

And having a 61 druid to follow you around removing the rain is not much good either lol

So i too would be happy to see the amount of storms and rains reduced
