I was just thinking. Store purchased charms are a great way to go in terms of improving your charactor. The problem is getting the money for anything over the 6k charms. I was wondering if there could maybe be raid level money drops from certain NPCs? They would drop their regular loot, and at the same time also drop, but what I am immagining, 'Large *crystal* Shard, Medium *crystal* Shard, and Small *crystal* shard.

They could be black saphire, ruby, diamond, whatever. They would basically summon 30, 20, or 10 of their corresponding gems. Also, the gems would not be no drop, and would therefore be able to be used for selling.
 
Meaning...they could be handed out to members as reward, would be especially nice for those who didn't receive loot on the raid.
 
Raids aren't about profit, they're about breaking from the xp grind, teaming up, challenging yourself, problem solving, and seeing great loot as a reward.

Besides - raid mobs do drop substantial plat and gems. But those are probably going to your guild bank.
 
Yea I know, but, they could be. I mean, only a few things drop, people need upgrades somehow. And it would be fun...guildbank does take the money, and for a good reason, but players need it too hehe
 
Main reason why there will never be any "Raid Money Loot," is because:

1) As Jan/Ana said, raid mobs drop good money/gems already.
2) I can only IMAGINE the whining that would come from, "OMG We just owned Tarhyl and all he dropped was money loot, GAY."
3) You're thinking wrong if you're raiding for money. Or possibly I could be wrong, but knowing our server, number 2 would most certainly happen.
4) It's *possible* to work his loot to give set # of items ( using Tarhyl for an example still ), However, that conflicts with number 1 AND 3, which is no good.

It's a nice thought, but I'd say try and think up something different.

I <3 Mystianna. Not only does she have a kickin' little avatar thing, but her explanations / reasoning are more gentle + suported than any other person I think. Like, sure she crashes your idea, but you understand it at least hehe
