Raid Changes

Wiz

NOT DONATING *EVER*
I will be making two quick changes to raids. Let me know here if there's any "raid bugs" they do not resolve.

1) If you invite a character or a group to the raid and it would make it become more than full (37+ people), BUT it would NOT be full if everyone in the raid currently out of zone or logged out were not in the raid, the raid will disband LD/ooz people to make room for the new invites.

For example, you have 35 people in the raid with 4 characters that are not logged in. You invite a group of 3. Instead of rejecting the new people on grounds of 35+3 = 38, the raid removes two logged out characters, bringing your raid to 36 with 2 logged out characters.

2) If you try to invite a group and the raid would be full as a consequence, even after 1) is taken into account, it will flat out reject the entire group.

The new feature of the raid about kicking people is a nice touch. One thing though, when the group leader gets kicked due to inactivity then the group has to all drop the raid and go through the process again which usually leads to the entire raid becoming bugged. Its hard to put into words how annoying this really is.

EDIT: To clarify, if the group wants to have more people in it they have to reform, and isn't that the point of the kickings in the first place to make more room for people to get into the raid.

Last night we had the following situation:
raid with 30 ppl in it! (grps 1 to 5 full).
leader of group2 has to go.
leader necks to SK and there disbands group/raid
this basically leaves group2 without a leader, since the raidwindow cant deal with this
the rest of group2 disbands raid, reforms and gets invited back. however, they are now group6!
raid has now 28 ppl
another group arrives and wants a raidinvite, but... this failes because the raid thinks that group2 is still there
raid now had to be reformed :(

I know that if the former leader of grp2 had done /make <name here> before he zoned out, all would have been well. but still if he doesnt, the raidwindow should be able to deal with this.

This does not actually always work. Occasionally I am asked to swap one member of whatever class for another, and if I happen to be bugged and cannot see that person for whatever reason, but someone else in the group can, I can make them leader, but when that person tries to invite they get the 'not a group or raid leader' message, and the group/raid is then bugged. This is with all people alive and in the zone and noone zoning or anything like that.
