racial traits

No. The obvious changes. Your shape. Your size. Your night-vision. None of those 'hidden' traits change (xp bonusses, innate regen, increase/decrease to stun potential, etc.).

Foma is of course right, however you have to watch out for any portions of the spell that arent "hidden." For instance illusion: troll gives a +1 bonus to regen. This is not because you are now infact a troll and that +1 regen is what the troll has, it is simply a side effect of the spell.

And you get slam if you get a big race illusion such as barbarian-troll-ogre ; hence I guess some other abilities as well (maybe stun protection, food consuption...)

Also, (at least in EQlive), if you illusion ogre, you cannot be stunned from the front. Illusion: Ogre made Tunare raids easier. Oh, I miss plane of growth. No wait... I hated PoG.

Thought people used that to make an ogre wall to stop her knockback/root :p

Oh yeah, that was it. The stun thing was one of the stickmen in growth. Anyway, Ogre illusion = ftw

I don't think it stacks, you'd just replace your regen with the Troll's regen - if they happen to be the same, you'd not see any difference.

Being an oger warrior, using the neck item that turns me into an earth elemental, i loose the ablity to slam with out a sheild. Even though the elemental is just as big as the oger. I do however receive a small increase in my STR. I didnt look to see if any stats went down. Also in most illusions, when you sit, your screen will change (lowers to the ground) this is not the case in earth elemental form. I dont know about others.

So, wait... if you are a troll or iksar, and you get illusion troll cast upon you...

you get an extra +1 regen?

Yes :)

Nope :(
