yeah, i woke up to it on cnn this morning. i really don't know what to say though other than R.I.P.

One could easily see this coming. It's much like that wildlife documenter who lived with bears being mauled with his girlfriend.
It's quite sad though, because work like this which gives such an intimate view of wildlife is what the general public needs when it's quite rare for the ordinary person to see a fox in thier lifetime.

This is really sad, he was a great guy and a great advocate for wild life.

Yea, I'm still in shock. I loved this guys shows! It's so sad that he left behind a wife and 2 kids...

Yea, I feel sorry for his family. He died what he loved doing most. May he rest in peace, and he will be missed.

It's so Ironic that it was a stingray, and not a reptile.

Even 4chan misses him. We should start a worldwide campaign for a Steve Irwin day. =(
