11. Two children, and only two
No more than two clients are allowed to be played by the same person at the same time. Different computers or the same does not matter. You are allowed to dual-client/comp, you are just not allowed to tri-client/comp. So you can play a warrior and a cleric at the same time, but you cannot play a warrior, a cleric and a paladin at the same time. You may of course play a warrior, cleric and paladin and alternate between which two you play at the same time. It does not matter if you simply logged your enchanter in to buff the other two characters for a minute - you will be equally harshly punished as someone who played three characters for several hours. If you are multiple people playing from the same IP, you may play up to two characters each at the same time - what matters is how many PEOPLE are playing the characters, not how many characters are being played from the same IP. We have ways of determining this.

I'm unclear as to whether we are to create 2 accounts in order to play 2 different characters (2box), or whether we can 2 box using 1 account?

Create two separate accounts. I highly recommend that any characters you plan on playing together at the same time should be on different accounts. The reason being that if two characters from the same account zone at the same time one will crash. It isn't a whole lot of fun.
 
You can log on two char from the same account, however you may experience some zoning problems. Two chars from two different accouns seems to work better (connection-wise) for some people.
Disclaimer: Not speaking from experience here, but from what I heard in-game.
 
most people suggest to use 2 accounts to 2box. I believe allthough i am unsure myself siince I do not 2box myslelf that if you zoone both chars simotaneously on the same account that one crashes. Correct me if i am wrong
 
I was under the impression soon you would NOT be allowed to log on 2 toons from the same account (I could be wrong). So, if you haven't done so already, I wouldn't suggest doing so.

You are indeed wrong. You can log on two characters from the one account, however it's in your best interests not to as it tends to lead to disconnection problems while playing.
 
Hmm another question...

I'm trying to download the SARS UI off of the front page under the Files section, however i can't login. Neither my client account login info works nor my forum account.

Also, can we use other UIs other than the 2 offered on the front page?

Along these lines, I vaguley remember reading a post a while back that GMs would no longer be moving characters from one account to another. Is this true and if so is there anything that people who have two toons on the same account can do to alleviate the "disconnection problem"?
 
I don't know if it's a rumour or not, but loading two characters from the same accout sometimes can lead to game play issues, whether it's disconnecting while zoning, or just in general stability problems.

Can anyone help me?

The thread explains the problem (that playing two characters on the same account at the same time causes issues), but doesn't point out any fixes for it. Is it possible to petition to have a character transfered from one account to another?
