Question on changes in the bard class

Do you still need to weave songs? (i might have the term wrong)
Where you needed to basically spam hotkeys to play multiple simultaneously? Or has this system been altered? I want to play a bard class, but I'm used to the EQ2 style where you don't need to repeatedly hit keys to accomplish songs =x don't think I could revert to the old style

Bards can play up to 2 buff songs at a time. They sit in your melody. If you click a third buff song then the first one you casted gets replaced etc etc

You can play up to two beneficial songs and 2 detrimental songs, but you must "twist" the two detrimental songs. You will always have one detrimental song pulsing (meaning you cast it and it recasting every tick), but you can definitely twist two (its not necessarily two, but you can figure that out once you start playing a bard).

It is an improvement that we can have 3 songs up with out twisting. And then add a 4th detrimental song by twisting.

It is not an improvement in that we no longer have the option to twist 3 beneficial or 3 detrimental songs.

Biggest benefit to long term playing is less carpal tunnel.

Even though I can no longer twist 3 chants, for overall playability I kind of like the current SoD song mechanics.
