Question for other sk's

I was wondering if anyone can help with a problem. I played a sk in eq live and now here on WR and I have noticed quite a few differences. The first being agro control is almost no exsistant pre 30 and the 2nd which my question is about is feign death splitting. (I understand they are two different games with differences) but on EQlive you could snare a mob move back a little bit and feign death and any extra mobs would return back to there spawn point, except the snared one which would often just stand there for a few seconds longer. I have noticed that when I do this the mobs still return together and that snare Fd split pulling is almost impossible now (works maybe 1 every 40 times.) I was wondering if anyone else had this problem as well or if anyone has even tried it.

Also a comment about pet pulling, you use to be able to Fd and send your pet in to a group of dark blues and then use the pet back off comand to single pull, EQ said they were gonna take it out but never did, it seems WR did. I tried this a few times and I got the entire room as if I were to go in myself. Then when my pet died (even FD with the mobs indifferent) I got attacked.

Agro seems to work a little differently on WR. I first tried a pally and noticed that my stuns were not keeping agro at all (on live I pretty much relied on these for agro). I suspected that agro or hate was coming only from damage dealt, and not from a stun spell such as cease (or at least not much). That being said the taunt ability seemed to work a little better in WR than it ever did on live. I only did this with cease however, so cannot confirm that the higher stuns aren't better (albeit slower casting etc).
With my SK, I haven't had many problems. At the lower levels my damage output was comparable to others anyway, so taunt was enough, not to mention our offensive arsenal. I use my spells a lot as an SK (taps especially).
Come 34 you get a lovely spell called terror of darkness. This ends any agro problems you may have had. It is fast casting, it is low mana and it gives you 200 hate. One casting of this is enough to keep agro, with another midway through the fight to drive it home. :D

With regards to FD pulling, I have successfully used FD to split mobs in many different situations. It may take a few trys, but once you get them to return at seperate times you are sweet. I've never tried doing it with snare myself, as I had assumed the dot component of our snares would reagro the whole bunch after FD.
Never tried the pet pull thing so no idea about that. But I can confirm that regular FD has certainly helped me split a few nasty situations. For example in Paw, I was able to split off the then red High Paw from his yellow buddy quite easily. The more mobs you add to the mix the more difficult it becomes as well.
The biggest annoyance I have encountered is when you get a caster in the mix and they start casting just as you FD...Doh! But thats just life.
