I was a player on this server long ago, but the population started to dwindle to around 200 during EST so I stopped playing. The world is just too big to only have that many people online.

My question is, where do we stand now? I kind of miss the game, but I only want to attempt a comeback if I know it's worth it.

400-500 at est prime time usually.
 
Since I started playing against a few weeks ago I cannot recall ever seeing 400 or more on the server select screen. A fair number of people online are boxes.

That doom and gloom aside I rarely have trouble finding a group/tmap/pug to do with a midtier 65 dps and 3 toons/boxes spread out between 20 and 60.
 
I'm in CST GMT -6 , and between probably 4pm-10pm or so on most days there's 300-400 logged in (whether that's 200 people boxing, idk, I don't personally box except to trade items).

It stays 100-300 from probably 10pm to 2 am... it dwindles sometimes down to 70 or 80 people from maybe 3 am to 7 am? And then back up to 100-300 people until the aforementioned 4 pm.

So yea...there's usually people to chat with, and people to group with. There's sometimes trouble at that 3 am time frame.. but since you're probably wanting to play EST late afternoon- evening time, there shouldn't be a big problem since that's when most people play.
 
HRM... when I first started playing again I saw ~430 on the night I Started back; haven't looked since. I really don't pug but I hadn't noticed less people really~
