Question about the Recommended Expansions

Hey guys, I'm looking to give EQ another try, and WR looks like a perfect place to start. I just have a question regarding the two recommended expansions, PoP and LoDN. I quit halfway through Luclin, so that's all I have up to. If I were to play without those 2 expansions, would I be missing a significant amount of content? How will it affect the high end game? I was in a fairly hardcore raiding guild before I left, so that's a key point for me.

And any comments on how wizards fare in WR? That was my main in EQ live before I quit.

I have all expansion up to and including SoL and nothing further and the game plays just fine, and I haven't encountered any issues. From what I understand you don't need the expansions beyond that if you don't want to.

Just patch EQLive normally and under the advance settings select all of the other expansions to download. After you let that run do all the Winter's Roar patching and hotfix stuff and you'll be fine.
