Question about switching between RealEQ/SoD

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, however I have looked but could not find a thread that relates to the question I have, so here goes:

If I were to switch to SoD, and patch the game to read to your servers and whatnot, am I still going to be able to access the actual Everquest? And if so could you explain how I would be able to?

I thought about posting under technical support however I was thinking it could be in discussion as well. Owell. Sorry if it is a issue. I'm just curious because I was looking at private servers and figured I would give this one a try.

Nevermind. I've found that the launchers are different. :)

Only thing I can think to note atm, if you play both games, and use the same folder for both, you will need to switch out your map pack depending on which game you want to play.

Personally I made a new folder for my SoD version, and kept my EQ folder seperate to avoid this. Either way it isn't very hard to switch the map files in an out, but the live maps and Sod maps are indeed different :)
 
I would use 2 different folders (just rename the one to sod), as it will save you time patching files when you want to play.
