Question about multi clients

I read a few diff. posts about being able to run 2 clients. And i saw about you can only run 2 and about the same ip with multi people. Me and my brother play back to back. Does this mean that we can only run 1, or can both of us run 2? I dont wanna get banned my first day =). I just wasnt understanding the explination of 2 poeple on the same ip and just wanted to clarify.

Two characters per person is the rule. But if there are more than two characters per IP, you may be confronted by a GM/Wiz to make sure there aren't more then two characters being played by the same person. I've heard of different things being done to verify this.
 
no it will def. be 2 people but i just didnt wanna get banned if it ONLY 2 per ip thats fine i just wanted to clerify
 
My kids and I play, and most of us like to multi-client.

We've been checked up on a few times, especially when we are all in one place at the same time. There is normally enough nonsense going on that it is quite clear that we are not one person :) I must admit that meeting Wiz in character was a feeling that I had not felt since my brief encounter with Anipa years ago on batmud.

Jerison and myself played all summer (when it wasn't down...) together and had no problems with anything. Mind you we also made a post like this inquiring because we too were a bit nervous.

The only real problem was lag when raiding, and there are a few things you can do that will alleviate some of the network stress from running four clients. Of course I forget them all now...one of the main ones is melee animation.
