Question about MQ integration

So I read on the front page and MOTD that the MQ will be integrated into the Ikisith expansion. I am currently running the seeker tasks and have not gone to the great dryad yet.

What exactly does that imply? Will my current 75% completion of the MQ be a problem? I am trying to complete it, but my play time is severely limited.

I have really enjoyed the MQ, possibly the best quest I have ever worked on.

I guess it is what it is, but I'd like to know a bit more about what to expect.
 
You seem confused about what they mean by "integration." I assume this means that they will be adding additional steps for the MQ line, that will be available to you once you have completed the ones there already are. Being 75% done shouldn't be a "problem" unless by that you mean you wont be able to do the new stuff instantly.

I don't really know anything though, that's just my best guess.
 
Yeah, that was kind of what I was thinking, but integrating (to me) means more about mixing parts of the expansion throughout the entire quest (possibly meaning different tasks/contacts for current content).

I am hoping they meant that Ikisith will contain a continuation of the MQ. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to dramatically alter what is already a solid quest.

Not having any inside info, I would interpret this like the OP. "integrate" doesn't sound like a pure extension of the quest to me, but like it might be required for something. That's completely a guess on my part though.
 
Well think about the last part of the MQ currently in game. Why the hell DID you go collect the crazy dog machine beast emitter thingy?
 
So we're going to go on a rampage across the Ikisian countryside on the back of a giant dog machine? Score.
