Question about enhancement items

Could someone explain to me how the various focus, enhancement, and increment items work?

[effect] [enhancement/increment] [roman numeral]

I can guess that healing helps you heal, range helps you range, affliction helps your dots, casting speed helps you cast faster.

What do the roman numerals refer to? (I could not find it in the Wikipedia.)

Many thanks

The higher the number, the higher the boost, simply.
I think it goes from I to V.
Also it doesn't stack in any way. Only the higher one applies (So if you have 2x Affliction II items it counts as Affliction II x1, same if you have Affliction I and Affliction II).

-Healing Increment = increases your heals by 3% per rank
-Damage Increment = increases the damage of spells you cast by 3% per rank.
-Bane Enhancement = increases the damage of bane spells (target only one type of creature, like undead or summoned) by 3% per rank.
-Affliction Enhancement = increases the damage done by your DoTs by 5% per rank
-Reagent Conservation = increases the chance your reagent using spell won't use a reagent by 5% per rank
-Duration Increment = increases the duration of buffs you cast by 3 (or 5, not sure)% per rank
-Casting Speed Increment = increases the speed in which you cast spells by .1 seconds per rank for average cast time spells. Higher cast time spells will benefit more, and lower cast time (sub 2 seconds) will benefit less if at all

They work on all levels of spells and afaik do not work on any bard songs.

so, it is not similar to live (er when i stopped 1 year or so) in that the bonus is the same but the level of spells affected is different?

(eq affliction 1 and affliction 5 same bonus but affliction 1 only worked on spells up to level 20)

peace

Correct, WR's system is different from live in regards to enhancement items.

Can this thread be put in the Tomb of Knowledge? ;)

or at least rab's post - though I do believe there is a post in the Tome for requesting threads to be added there.

/wants to be lazy and hopes someone else will blow the dust off the Tome to submit the formal request.

Yes yes, I know this is an older post, but I've got a question about focus effects.

Would Bane Enhancement and Damage Increment stack with each other?

Like, suppose you have a BE I item and a DI I item, would you then get 6% damage increase to your bane effects? (or whatever % if they are calculated one at a time)

problem?

Maybe it's a bug or mayb i'm missing something, but if you see my profile, i have the Royal Crown from the prince in kaladim, but I have yet to see it actually fire. I've tried all sorts of spells...just curious if I am missing something. Also I don't think my companion health II fires when i summon a new pet :(

You have focus effect messages turned on in your filters?

It would be nice to have this info in the tomb of knowledge. Especially since noobs like me really need it. :D

Rabb is a little off on the percentages, I'll post a correction later.
