Question about Donations

If I'm fine on cash right this minute, but I don't know how well off I will be in the upcoming months, could I donate $100 now and get 4 months platinum status, or do you HAVE to do it by the month? I ask because my finances are always shaky, and I never have any real way to be sure of how much I will have each month. Thanks. :)
 
You can donate platinum for 5 months and then cancel your subscription. It's the same as donating $100 only you get platinum flagged for 5 months as well as the summonable toys and upgraded player housing.

OR

You can just click on the one time donation thing and donate a flat rate (*edit: see wiz's reply below)

I'm sorry, maybe I'm an idiot, but I don't quite follow you. What you're saying is that I can't make a loose change donation of $100 and get platinum status?

EDIT: Oh, I see now... That kind of sucks :(
 
if you talk to wiz nicely it may be possible, i know i did $100 once and got platinum for a few months
 
What stops people who are cheap from subscribing to platinum for 1 month only to cancel it and get the free toys? Or do the toys no longer work once you lose the *platinum* or whatever status?
