Question About Deity Augs

I have a question about the deity augs. I've searched for a while and didn't come up with much. Are all the deity the same in the end? I've noticed that the one Enthann aug that a lot of people have is Ferocity 3, 8 str dex sta, and 70 hp. The Marlow one I see is 5ac, 10 str sta cha, 85 hp, 50 mana, stun resist, agression, and some resists. Are these augs the final results from those deities? I was just wondering because the Marlow one seems a decent amount better.

I'm planning to pledge to a deity on my main and I'd like to make a good decision that takes into account what the home zone is, what kind of gear drops there, and what kind of aug I can get.

Final final? No. All the augs will be reviewed and stats changed once all the quests and items are implemented.

That being said, some will be vastly better than others. This is based on what you give up, raid and otherwise, for following them. As such Tarhyl will be by far the best, while such ones as Enthann or Jayla will be the worst.

Rule of thumb, if you can still benefit from their plane while sworn to them, its gonna be lower quality.

Once more, for everyone. The Stats On The Augs Now Are Not Final. When more of the augs are in they WILL change.

still not seeing why they would be all that diff tbh. the lower tier plains you aren't really giving anything up and as for ToT 99% of the population would never even dream of seeing it so they aren't really losing much there either

and as per all the mid range dieties, there are tons of mid range zones in now and bypassing one is easily doable. I could see if it went zone 1-->2-->3-->... but it doesn't, it goes 1x5-->2x3-->3x4-->...

Will there be another reset once the augs are all in? Would seem like it would make the most sense, I was surprised it went in along with deity bonus, rather than at the very end after everything is said and done with augs.

About the OP , I rather hope there will be a review cause the Enthann aug is actually pretty good for not giving up anything (CS5 I think ? or Fero3 compensates other stats to some extent in my PoV).

The other comment I don't agree, cause before getting to the higher planes, PoT for example or PoA have always been a nice start - now there are alternatives sure, but a lot of really useful items drop there and giving up on Syviana or Shiritri today for a fresh 65 is still quite a hit - not saying that because their augs are shitty , quests just not finished. And seeing how crowded is the high end today , I don't think 99% not seeing Tarhyl is s accurate.

The focuses on the enthann aug are pretty incidental honestly. They could just as easily be removed for their power, and the aug would suffer none. The real reason everyone gets the CSI one is that all the others are lower mana. Tbh I feel that they are appropriate, considering the difficulty one faces in balancing their alignment. Pariah or divine light augs should really be lesser. Marlow is about right because you're honestly not giving up a ton because it a lower tiered zone. I don't feel it's that much of a hit on siviyana or shiritri either, considering the amount of other planar zones that provide viable alternatives.

Tbh I feel that they are appropriate, considering the difficulty one faces in balancing their alignment. Pariah or divine light augs should really be lesser.

[Wed Jul 18 14:37:46 2007] Admin-Wiz BROADCASTS, 'The deities that have the best zones to hunt (ie the best zones you miss out on) will have the best quests / deity augs.'

Based on this and several other statements / posts from Wiz it appears that 25% lower maximum spec bonus is going to be the sole price that must be paid for the convenience that is gained be not having to maintain an alignment. It looks like missed loot and xp zones will be the factors that determine augment power.

Enthann augs have low level foci and attack which is pretty easy to get throughout the tiers. There are no svs, mana, ac or effects on the melee one and no svs or ac on the caster ones. "Giving up" planes nowadays doesn't mean a ton since there are so many out there to raid. I think the Enthann ones are pretty bland as is compared to the others (can you even raid Althuna's plane?). I honestly don't see a reason to nerf the already lackluster Enthann augs even more.
