PvP experience - idea

I had an idea i'd like to put forward to encourage PvP and add some additional character progression options:

If a player gains experience (the normal way) and has the pvp flag they'd gain some additional pvp exp, this could be used to buy AA like abilities with a /cmd interface like specialize. The difference between these abilities and regular aa's would be that that the pvp aa's ONLY affect pvp, so if you bought 5% more melee accuracy that would only apply for pvp. Special skills like earning a new combat style that helped your class pvp could be bought too, and lots of otherwise unbalacing things like counterspell etc. could be added (for pvp only).

This would encourage people to have the pvp tag on as it would be seen as additional character progression for the completists, and add the opportunity for the developers to tweak each class to be more balanced in pvp by giving additional pvp only abilities and stats.

pvp is used to settle disputes and fight for fun, not to exploit the EXPerience system
My guild is mostly pvp enabled and we pvp each other all the time for fun...
something like that would enable people to exploit the system

there are plenty of advantages to pvp already, including the ability to advance your skills

but most blue-server peeps are chicken to go pvp anyways

erm what... Would you mind saying how or is "exploit" just a buzzword you picked up and decided to use after reading that my thread title had the words 'pvp' and 'experience' in it without actually reading my post?
