currently, this item feels a little limited.. once your 2 or 3 tanks get it, it becomes a facepalm to see it drop... adding some mana and CLR BRD to it might be a thought, to make it a bit more versatile.
 
There are plenty of items that are tank only. If you want classes added on an item, your post needs to be a little more in depth than "I want the item to be more versatile." Lots of items rot once you farm a mob enough.
 
fair enough. adding mana and classes to this item would only make it rot less. they would be far from overpowered. it would still be slightly worse than the well gloves. they are plate gloves, bards and clerics are plate classes.

tightened up itemization is probably not a bad thing. in this case, it would remain a tank-first item, but rot less. items rotting generally isn't very fun. what's the downside?
 
Dont think they are bad, just happen to be the most common item off that mob, and usable by the least amount of classes..which is why its on rot after the 4th or 5th kill. Dont neccesarily agree with the change tho since well gloves are extremely similar for priests/casters.
 
Adding bard to these accomplishes next to nothing, unless you happen to have an orator sword, which most don't. Viva la thaz gloves.
 
Excuse my ignorance on the matter. I forgot they added RI7 to Well gloves after I quit raiding, making them THAT MUCH better. Its like they weren't great as they were.
