Progression

Is there anybody willing to make a list of raid progression at endgame. Doesn't really matter who is where or on what boss, just a list of the order of progression in the raid environment.

You should look for the 2 Tiers post, that were posted sometime ago one done by Woldaff and another by Fetchum if i remember correctly.
They go from Tier 0-9, From Lavascale to Upper thaz. They are pretty good to find what you looking for

That is pretty close to what it is in reality. Some of the encounters could be moved up, down, and around tiers but that is basically the not-so set in stone progression.

It also lacks new zones such as PoWater, Nightmare, Valor/ValorB and such.

I've personally found that to be a shaky framework at best. Due to various things and personal business, I haven't done a revised copy, but there are some grossly overrated and also grossly underrated mobs in that list that could and should be moved. So don't base everything off of this list.

yeah... Faralak, for example, has been changed to tier 10 with 2.0.

seriously, it's now impossible to keep those two elementals perpetually stunned. EVERYONE in CW will back me up on this.

I'm pretty sure you are correct with your experiences above tier 6

Where do Extremely Difficult tmaps fall on the difficulty spectrum? Are we talking tier 2-3 or upper tier stuff?

Fusion hasn't tried him in ages since we heard about him being broken, so I can't comment directly, but if the encounter is truly that broken a detailed post in S&R from people who have attempted it multiple times would be to everyone's benefit.

EDIT: Hasrett, ED maps are fucking hard as balls and are above the tier of content Fusion is currently killing, so I would say at least 6+. This is assuming that they haven't been drastically changed since they were first implemented, the only one I've ever been on was the server-first that Wiz awarded to test them. From what I hear only the highest of high end guilds have ever completed them at all.

2nd edit: after reading Tink's post, I realized that when the map was awarded my gear was more like tier 2 than 6, and I was equating my character then to my character now, a couple k mana and 150 aas lighter. That said, they still were pretty rough, although they may not have raped a truly tier 6 guild nearly as hard as the hodgepodge crew we assembled for the attempt

I'd say the ED map we did was like tier 7 or so.
Also the loot is about that tier if you ask me.
Not the mana-problems (that usually arise on raids) but the sheer number of mobs you have to tank and keep aggro on since they're not mezzable.

CW has killed Faralak pre 2.0 twice. We never do get many chances to even try him due to lack on stunners. Anyway, changes since we killed him: 2.0, cheals, Faralak is no longer a yellow con, he is now a red con.

I've always viewed the Faralak as a luck fight. Sometimes resists are just too much of a bitch, other times your spells land and you keep the elementals out of the fight. However I suspect that since cheals were changed, it makes the fight damn near impossible. Elementals heal a lot quicker now and it leaves no room for resists so enchanters are out the running for stunning. Not enough room in raid for wizards and clerics to stun. It pretty much leaves bards which isn't a bad thing since they used to own Faralak pretty badly. Now it's a bit more work for a bard to get the job done. Regardless after 10 tries or so since all of these changes, we have been unable to down Faralak. Our best try was when my enchanter was one of two stunners awhile back and got him to under 40%..

I have no doubt we can down it if it's a fair fight because well we already have. We can definitely work up a plan to have more people in on stunning or something. But I question if it is a fair fight anymore.

Honestly Faralak was pretty much always a pushover pre-2.0. His loots aren't that spectacular, although wizards will likely hold onto the neck for a while. But yeah preventing two elementals from performing a 2 seconds CHeal seems pretty rough. I am guessing they can't be manadrained? But anyway, this might be a topic for a new thread :p

Nope I tried. It was pretty easy for honderik to keep the bard one locked, the ench/pally one was always dicey.

Empire never did Faralak once he became a red con, so it's possible that bard stuns are resisted more now.

We didn't? When was he changed to red? Could have sworn we ran through him on one of the later mokunz and whatnot runs

We might have killed him on a Mokunz, etc. run, but I think he was still yellow. I never recall killing him when he became a red con because he was pretty much worthless to us except for vault keys.
