problems with trying to register

on your web site i cannot get to the page to register and create a log in name it sends me to the install instructions page instead of being able to register
 
Maybe you should *gasp* read the page? And you obviously haven't searched these forums like the sticky told you to, since I know other people have written the exact same thing before going "I'M SO DUMB".
 
Excuse me, but you have no right to call him an idiot. I had the same issue. I read through the entire page and assumed the registration in bold letters was a link to the same page as the one on the right. At the time, I was going through the installation process. Try to be nice.

And yes, I realize this is an outdated thread.
 
Actually, you will figure out (if you don't get banned or decide to leave) that here if you are staff, you usually can say what you like. I'm not saying that's bad, just how it is. Homogenn is part of the staff, and as per the rules, basically is not to be argued with. If he declares someone an idiot, that person is an idiot in reference to all things SoD.

Plus, the information is there... other people have figured it out... if one or two cannot, then that doesn't point to a flaw in the system.
 
I didn't see anything in his profile saying he WAS part of the staff, so I didn't treat him as one. And yes, if I knew he was staff, I would've left him alone. But he is also calling ME an idiot because I was going to post the same thing before I scanned the page for related threads to the same problem. Maybe this member of the staff is just sick of the same questions, but I just thought he was some ignorant player looking for trouble.

Oh, and stupid me, I'm so used to seeing "GM" that I forgot that it stood for Game Master. I thought it was a "You posted # times! Good for you!" title. My bad.
 
I didn't call him an idiot. I just said that a ton of people had actually written requests exactly like these, and then replied, or editted: "NM I FIGURED IT OUT. HOW SILLY OF ME" or whatnot.
 
Well anyway, thanks for not being one of those "WAT U QUESTUN ME!!!?1/1/ i ban u!" admin dudes. I'm trying NOT to get banned, and hardly do for a good reason, and am trying to ward off :censored: ers. As my brother once said: "Where ever there is a growing population, there's a proportionate number of stupid people".
 
I don't play the muscle game, unless I have to. I do expect people to perform a minimum number of tasks before asking for help, though. I'm really freaking tired of people ignoring all the stickies and search feature, and still expect to get help. I've simply decided to not help them.
 
The resources are available to the players for a reason. Come to us when you've exhausted these resources.
