Everquest was unable to initialize the file eqmain.dll

you may wish to try rebooting, deleting eqmain.dll and restarting everquest

Sometimes I get this one instead...

Unable to load eqw.dll

Any idea what I am doing wrong?
 
Ug, kept playing with it and now i can get to the EULA screen but i can't click on anything.

Kinda frustating...
 
Have you tried repatch all? Bind to a processor? Since you are using win7, do not install/use eqplaynice, it doesn't work. (and can crash things.)
 
Also, try running it without EQW. This may require unchecking the "Use EQW" box on the patcher.
 
I had play nice checked I "think". I did do repatch all and I haven't bound to a processor yet since I don't know which to bind to :)

How does bind to processor work? I have option for 1-4. running a Black Edition 4 core
 
What ddoes the EULA screen show? I might be ATI bug - which means just click the bottom right corner and see if it works.
