Problem with Lake Starfall quests

I recently farmed the items for both of my characters' Lake Starfall quests, getting there only to find that i was kos with the quest givers.

Baffled, i petitioned and a GM said it was because of my religion, Pariah, and that i should post on this forum to see if that was the intention of the quests which seem geared towards all members of a class, not to any particular religion.
