Pricefinding: How much would you pay?

How much would you pay for an 1charge item that gives an unresistable 1k damage proc and a spell damage increase of 35%, both lasting for 30 sec?

I voted, this is no different than a rez urn. It is valuable but its not something you use haphazardly all day.


I don't get how you do not see the value in an item you can click which will stack with vah/aura of destruction and just melt fucking faces left and right for 30 seconds.

it could trivialize some content.It would turn into a staple in some guilds, so you figure 12 people dpsing with it for 30 seconds, that's a massive boost to dps and would cause the encounter to be easier than intended. No way this should ever be put in. and if it is in should be removed.

edit: something like 150dd 10% increase for a one min I could see as being ok, it would give a boost but nothing game breaking.

it already is in, and you are leaving out some factors to consider. The item costs a lot to produce and is not at all easy to make. This is a rending curse/situational item and considering its cost to make, is not overpowered at all.

True, what is the general cost? the person was asking 100-1500pp so I assumed it would be pretty cheap to make.

Since it was asked for: one combine atempt costs ~450pp, and combine gets never trivial.

I am surprised these are not widely used already, I would think that most raid guilds would require you to keep 3-4 on you at a time. could see most people paying 800-900 for it though. I still think a more balanced version would be what I suggested before. Especially with casters.

This has 2 reasons:
1) noone but me can try the combine
2) one of the ingridients can not be obtained any more

30sec is pretty short, if it was at least 1min buff then i'd drop 1k on it np

That opens up a whole new bag of worms. Since to be a noticeable difference in any fight it would need to be used by several people if not the entire dps force, in which it would be a very nice difference I wouldn't seeing it sell except for those who want to see big numbers they normally don't see. At the same time it's a limited quantity so the price would normally be driven up in that case since you can pretty much set your own price and if they want it they have to pay it.

I highly doubt you're going to find a market of even moderate size for those, so far the poll seems to come to the same conclusion.
