Seems like a good chunk of the stuff I had in my sewing bags didn't make it across in the migration. I have screen shots. But I'm a little unclear on how to go about requesting a restore of multiple items. Do I need to petition in game each item or is there a more efficient way to go about this...

Before you petition, did you make sure you're looking at your sewing kits in the non-tradeskill mode? Because if you're seeing the tradeskill menu it won't show anything in the bag. I.e., click experiment and turn on the ctrl+right click to open tradeskill containers thing in options.
