I have never really played everquest but me and my friends are looking for a new MMO to play and this one looks pretty good. I am just curious what the population is like and overall opinions on the server.

Hi and welcome to SoD. Everquest is, in my opinion, one of the best MMOs out there. There are various reasons behind this, but one of the key things to remember is that it is not only engrossing but challenging. SoD is a custom content Everquest server, and for the most part, the content is done very well. The content lore is good, and it is not abnormal to see developers and staff in game chatting with the players. The population at low levels is pretty sparse, but at higher levels there are people to enjoy the game with. Currently, at the low volume points of the day you may see 50 players on, and at high volume points of the day you may see 140 to 180. You will find that the populace of this Everquest EMU is one of the nicest and most helpful.

Greetings Amieko and welcome to the server. I've been playing Everquest for 12 years, and I keep coming back. It's a great game, with an original and addicting play style that doesn't exist in any other MMO. The population usually ranges from 60-200 players and continues to grow.
