Population on server ?

Hiya!

I have played EQ for 5, but i had a break and deleted my eqlive account. Now i was thinking to try Wintersroar out.

I have a couple of questions.

* How populated is the server, is there a lot of people online in all lvl range ? how many users are online a normal evning ?

* Can i use all the expansionpacks in Wintersroar otherwise i dont waste my time to install them again.

* How mutch faster is the exp grindning in WR then in eqlive ?

Q: How fast does experience come? As slow as EQLive?
A: Experience is faster than on EQLive, but it's not one-level-a-minute.

Well, at higher level I think xp actually is faster on EQLive, but that's because everybody has wacked equipment and can solo mobs that used to take a raid force of 30 people.

Kunark, SoV, SoL and PoP is currently supported.

People online? Well, it depends on when you have your evening. I'm not sure what prime time is anymore, but it used to be around 3-4pm EST (but it might have changed since 0.4). The server sometime gets to a max of 150 (but the server supports like 300 or 400). Normally there's people online in all level ranges (20-65), but most of them are 50+.

Well, the links used to say more than they do, from what I can read, and they are getting to get a bit outdated.

wacked equipment

Why is everyone have wacked equipment ? is it easier to get uber stuff in WR then EQLIVE ??

No. On live:
Go kill 40 rats and loot their rat tails that sell for 1.5 pp (level 1 rats)
Go to bazaar.
Sell rat tails.
Buy a 40/15 weapon, effect death touch.


No, but what I mean is that xp is slower on WR than on live because on live people have A LOT better equipment, and they can kill mobs A LOT faster.

If you compare live before luclin to WR, it's easier to get stat items on WR, and better equipment in general. At 10 on live you could get cloth. At 10 on WR you can get soft leather, chain, etc. etc.
