A certain object dropped by Maysun required for tier progression in this zone is No Rent, and seeing as it is for raid progression, and needed to trigger the next step, it would be beneficial that this item be changed. It seems to enable other guilds to skip PoFire progression more than enabling the guild who killed maysun as if the no rent head is turn in, the changes are not reset later. So random passerby's are able to engage something that shouldn't normally be engagable for them.

This certain individual that is triggered AFTER maysun appear to be broken also. His script moving him from his first location out to the lavapit / field breaks and chain summons his followers (can't be intentional for this tier, VERY difficult)

The real question is whether the eponymous item dropped by that individual is ever going to have the quest it is involved in completed.

uh... i may be wrong, but i was under the impression this had an epic ending, gorzenath?

Yea, it would be very useful to have pofire looked at, as it seems there are numerous amounts of bugs (probably from nobody really doing it enough, or some dev messed with it along the line, something else got changed, broke it, or it just decided to break) Pofire is a really cool zone, and it really sucks that some fights are broken/buggy, or some quests don't register properly, or that some dialogue options just don't work when talking to some mobs. That said, it would be really cool to have pofire looked at, and the bugs here and there fixed. It would make the zone so much more awesome than it already is, which is saying quite a bit in my opinion.

Any subsequent "Plane of Fire is broked" posts must contain detailed information. This is content developed by staff emeritus. Anything as vague as "A certain object" will get disregarded and/or deleted. If you have a problem with posting spoiler-ish information, you may e-mail your would-be-post at [email protected] and I'll forward it to staff channels. In that case, all details must be included. If you're unsure if it's detailed enough, disallow yourself the use of pronouns other than 'I' and 'you'. You must also avoid assuming anything. If you *think* you know how something is supposed to work, you can't say you *know* how it's supposed to work. Instead, say what you suspect is how something is supposed to work as well as your reasoning for it.

These vague posts of "give the guy the item and he doesn't do the thing he's supposed to" are less than useless.

Once Maysun is killed a no drop, lore, no rent head can be looted off her corpse. This head is then given to Shihab (fire giant boss of city 1) to trigger a minor script in which he becomes aggressive. He initially starts with 2 Yellow Con adds, and once those adds are destroyed he seems to begin chain spawning white/dblue djinni followers. Raid power burns Shihab once the initial adds are down, and when Shihab gets to 50 he poofs, and you are left to kill the followers/spare djinni's leftover. What actually happens is he poofs, apparently runs down the lava tunnel, and appears out in the lava pita area by the Fire Elemental village with the wounded hakim soldier and suhayeb corpses scattered about.

The assumed bug with this is that he continues to spawn these djinni's, while not being very obvious where he went, and sends them at the raid. IF fire elemental trash was left up at the village those aggro too. All in all a fun fight, but based on the sheer number of adds, and the amount they hit for it doesn't not feel tier6-7 by any means.

Guild asked that Maysun's head be made non-no-rent in order to accommodate the amount of time required to clear to maysun, and then also required to clear Shihab event. Being no rent forces guilds to turn this in before they log for the night, thus leaving a target with a script and a purpose up in a form he shouldn't normally be, aggressive. It would be nice to be able to hang onto this, as it's essential for in-zone raid progression and breaks the lore of the zone for random passerbys that run across him.

The jury is still out on whether or not the adds are excessive.
