Plip's drop: Carved Stick

I recently acquired two copies of the item Carved Stick off of Plip in the pest tunnels in Surefall. Problem is, the item is missing its attack delay, as well as what slot to equip it in. Is it an unfinished item, or am I missing something?

Item info reads:
[MAGIC ITEM]
DMG: 6
Effect: Yaulp (Combat)
WT: 0.3 Size: SMALL
Class: ALL
Race: ALL

Suggestions and help are all appreciated :)

Is it some form of quest item? Maybe you have to turn it in or something? Try an id on it maybe. Though my first instinct is to say it's bugged.
 
Ok, I just picked up a Beetlesilk Jerkin off of the Pest broodmother, and I have the same problem. It is missing the equip slot though...

Item reads:
[MAGIC ITEM][LORE ITEM][BIND ON EQUIP][PRISTINE]
AC: 8
Effect: Minor Healing (Combat)
WT: 0.0 Size: TINY
Class: ALL
Race: ALL
Slot 1, type 5: empty
 
i would keep them, never know down the line something might come up requiring one of them. ya know? No one seems to know what its used for, could be anything at this point.
 
It seems a shame that they can't be equipped though. I'd be very excited to pull a group together and raid the pest site if I knew these items were equippable. They have nice statistics (for those that are present...), and even if they might be turn in items, I'd like a copy for a character.
