Hi i use to play this game a while ago my name was belkrabam but enough about my personal life i was gonna try and play again but i had to restore my cpu and now i dont have eq installed, im rly confused about how to get sod running.. umm from what i read u have to buy eq to play sod? if theres anyway to do it without purchasing anything plz let me kno i miss the game

No. If you're not wanting to purchase a box, you could buy it through Steam; one of my installations was done using this method, and it works fairly well (though some mob graphics aren't so worky, and I had to copy a file over from my old installation on my desktop to get into DFS.) You can find the Titanium edition on Amazon from various sellers for $20-60. If anyone has any suggested sellers, maybe they'll chime in, but I hope that helps.
 
I just ran it through my current live folder which I downloaded using the station launcher. Only problem is you might need a valid EQ account or at least station account to run that.
