Back in the day, people used to offer plat for quest writeups on the Wiki. Anyone doing that anymore?
There are a LOT of holes in the Wiki, and it's not getting nearly as many updates as it used to. Anyone want to step up to bat?
Alternately, a question for Wiz or any of the other interested staff: IIRC Hasritt had 31k on him when his account was deleted (it was enough to buy a 36k charm at a discount from Thoias). Since that money was legitimately in circulation back then, and since I can't exactly use it anymore, could that amount be used to set up a Wiki incentive fund?
For whoever's interested, I'm thinking something along the lines of 50pp per quest writeup, 5pp per item (and someone could make a pretty hefty chunk of change on tradeskill item writeups). Customized amounts could be offered based on filling in other information, such as the trivial levels for various stuff in the tradeskills (Fishing needs a lot of fleshing out, for example).
I'm DCing a pair of level 31s right now, one of whom has crap for gear, so sadly I can't offer anything to the fund. Hopefully a few of the wealthy players will step up and pitch in a kpp or so.
