Platinum Subscription

Howdy all,

This is my first post, so please take it easy on me. Anyways, I have been playing for about a month and a half now on WR, probably 3 times a week. About 3 weeks ago I did the Platinum subscription. After completing the subscription, I sent an email with my account name to the correct email address listed. I received no response and did not recieve the ingame clicky using the (/cmd fanatic) command.

Because I did not receive any conformation, I believed I screwed up the email address so I sent another email the following day. Again I received no response. I waited approximately another week trying the (/cmd fanatic) command and I still did not receive the ingame clicky item or an email conformation.

Needless to say, I canceled my subscription, not because I did not receive the in game item, but because I did not know if my monthly subscription, sent via paypal, was going to the correct place.

Thus, is this normal not to receive some type of notification? Did I not follow the directions correctly in the donation section of WR site? Does it take longer than a week to receive some type of notification?

That's terrible and no, not normal at all. We usually get around to it within 12 hours. Are you sure you didn't send it to the wrong email? :(
 
I followed the following instructions, which I have copied and pasted here.

(When donating, send an e-mail to [email protected] with the e-mail you used for the paypal donation and your in-game ACCOUNT NAME. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU WANT TO RECEIVE THE DONATOR BENEFITS.)

I wish I had my sent email but I used my comcast internet email because I was at work and thus hI ave no record of it. However, the email did not get bumbed back to me because of an incorrect address so I am assuming it went through.

I browsed the staff inbox, there's been no plat sub email from any comcast source. It might be WR's mailserver bouncing it for some reason, or it might be yours refusing to send.

Either way, no, that's not by any means normal, I flag accounts as soon as I get the email, and if email is troublesome you can always PM me here on the forums.
