Line of sight in PoW is pretty goobered up. Pulling mobs down halls sometimes dont agro the tank, even though they are standing right in front of them. Also casters many times cant cast on a mob w/o spamming the nuke key until it bounces into LoS for a millisecond, or must stand right ontop of the mob in order to begin casting. I'm not trying to gripe, i just wanted to make sure ya'll were aware of the issue.
 
This is a wiz thing to look at but a little hint is to back your tank up a bit on the pulls. The mobs just get walled easily in there.


Hopefully wiz can tweak the detection.
 
we tried monk pulls to ranger who bows who parry stances who then backs up to warrior who then tanks... and we couldnt get LoS to slow until healers had smoked 50% and 3 casters couldnt dps entire fight.. gets pretty detrimental pretty fast :dumb:
 
Thanks for acknowledging that ya'll are aware of the problem and plan to fix it.. at some point, waldoff.
 
Not much I can do about this, the problem is in the zone's collision detection map.

EDIT: Apparently I was wrong! Disregard this post.

Hot. The LoS detection issues were pretty much the only thing that made PoWater not the most fun raid zone we did in DG.
 
What, no. I thought that was the part of the difficulty and thats why the loots were so overpowered!

Truthfully the LoS in PoW was pretty much terrible and was one of the major drawbacks to raiding water. Now that it is fixed you guys should go check it out, because woldo makes some sweet zones.
