Plaguewracked mobs and Purebladed Axe

I didn't know where to put this, so since it's related to gear, I'll try here.
Are plaguewracked mobs considered "corrupted" ( I think they would, but you never know...)? So will the bane damage from Purebladed Axe apply on those mobs, or should I try to upgrade it when I am done in Badlands? Otherwise, 55/45 is a very nice dam delay even in the 50-60ies.

Imo should be, since they're clearly corrupted the same way as the Badlands mobs. Let's wait for confirmation.

IIRC, plaguewracked mobs are infected by the disease, as opposed to the corrupted mobs, who are touched by corruption itself. I may be wrong, though.
