I read somewhere that uh Necro pets are embarressing....
How do Pets on WR deal with the pets on EQlive? What are the differences? Are they weaker? Plus I was also wondering, do the mage pets still have spells? *im not part of the game yet, im highly considering playing it* I kind of wanted to make a necro/Mage duo =D

I have no idea how they are compared to live.
Mage pets does have spells.
AFAIK necro pets doesn't suck, but it has been a while since I last played a necro.

Here is the Information about the pets from live. Wiz can answer the stats on the Necro pets on WR.
As for me necro pets DON'T tank well or do the DPS as compared to live. In my opinion they are weaker. I have the level 63 pet which acts more like the level 59 live one. It never hits for over 59 Damage, life taps for 45 damage, Bashes for about 20 to 30, never back stabs, kicks, and it gets feared, and i think it has about 3k hps i think. As i said i don't have the stats on WR pets.

So here is the live info,

As you are not playing WR yet. I highly advise that you do, it's a wicked server with many unique zones, mobs, loot, etc. Wiz and staff have and are doing a great job. Hope to see you in the game. :)

Necros are a great class on WR. That is all.
.....lol?

This is what Anadin meant :D

Necros are the jack of all trades. They are the ruler of DoTs. They are the only class that can stack god knows how many kinds of DoTs on one mob. Necros can save a raid wipe by FDing and rezzing (rez is the price of a ruby, but hey, only clerics and necros can rez, and actually pay off your debt) a cleric who died so that they can rez eveyone. They can give their own mana to others, which can also save the day. They can mez, and no, it's not a horrible mez. You can self succor. The can heal your entire group, drain mana for your group, and raise your stats, all at the expense of your enemy. I am prolly missing some stuff, but, imo once a necro hits level 60+ I think they are a truly amazing class. Compared to live, I'm not sure how they compare as I never played live. I think they are a powerful enough class, also one of the best soloers on WR. Whatever your choice is, have fun and WELCOME to WR. :)

Ok then... My main on live was a necro so I was just sorta curious when I heard the pets were weaker. :)
