Pet's and AoE Proc Weapons

Currently pets only proc AoE type spells on their current target even when you have multiple mobs, can this be fixed? I assume it has to do with aggro or lack there of since when I manually make the pet attack several of the mobs, then the proc would land on multiple but when I don't do this it only lands on the one its attacking. Thanks.

if you pet did nothing to gain aggro on those other mobs, then the proc won't affect them. The same thing happens to a player who casts an aoe, but had not gained aggro with the mobs prior.

I get aggro from KoS mobs, so I can proc AoE weapons on them; however my pet does not get this aggro. I understand from Indifferent mobs I have to do this, but this shouldn't be the case with KoS mobs.

I get something called proxy aggro but my pet doesn't.

Pets don't get proxy aggro. The same reason that a pet can stand next to an unaggroed mob and the mob ignores the pet.

Didn't they before tho? I think the change to them was to combat the invis killing pet issue, can something be done to change it?

The easiest trick I have found for that is just give the pet water illusion. When he procs the group heal on the tank, he'll pick up all the agro.

Downside is I'm a bst and soothing procs off of me not pet

Sadly, the bst doesn't have that trick. We are stuck with doing things the hard way.
