Pet models

I dont know is this is possible to do, just thought I'd throw it out there
Thought it would be cool to have a way to change the models of ones pet. I dont mean giving necros the ability to change their pets into a wolf or something like that, i mean maybe a few different skeleton models to choose from.
 
That would probably not be possible due to client restrictions from my (restricted) understanding.
 
No need for that, the necro pets for example evolves with the levels (or races ?) > Iksars get an iksar skelly, gnomes a little skelly, humans a normal one ; then there's a zombie pet (who or what lvl I don't know, I heard it was changed since I was a newb) ; at some point everyone gets a lich spell, then teh red skelly pet at the end. I think this is the class with the most different pets. Oh yeah I tend to forget about mages...hate you MAGIS !
 
Enchanters can have whatever pet they have illusions to create. :)

I've been running around with an elf pet for awhile.
 
Hahaha...my husband has an enchanter and mage. He always gnome illusions them, and they're names are Larry and Curly.

I suppose when my druid gets her pet she'll name it Moe.
 
you can change pets to any models in the global file. not sure if you can edit/add to it, supposedly it's possible but i've never been able to get it to work. can forceload the model you want to use to every zone i guess but that'd be pretty annoying.
 
We get the regular skeleton, the zombie, the lich and the red skeleton with green eyes...what more choice do you want?
 
i was speaking directly for necros i was just using them as an example, and i meant diffrent skins for one model
