Does this aa work? I've been wanting to get it but can't bring myself to spend the 6 points yet because several people have told me that it doesn't work so dont waste my points.

I guess basically, i just want confirmation by someone who has already purchased the skill that it does or does not work.
 
The mage version works. If I tell Snuggles to stay put, he gets so pissy that he'll stand there and WATCH me die and won't lift a finger to help.
