Personal problem

Well I logged on my mid 50s duo of sk/shaman today. I played for 15 minutes and quit. I can't seem to get into playing them anymore. I had the same problem on live with my level 51 wizard. I can't even say the grind is bad, because it really isn't. Even just duoing I can make some good exp. I think my biggest problem is grouping, I hate grouping. Wait before you flame me let me explain. I love the act of grouping but I can never be at my computer and pay attention long enough to not gimp the group. I have real life stuff going on all the time and can't seem to focus on group play. I don't know why I'm telling you this, I don't want you to change your game or anything. I'm just sad, and the worst part is my characters are some of the oldest on the server. Maybe this game isn't for me?

Thank you!  For a couple years I played on Live while at work.  Yes, I work a graveyard shift where five out of my eight hours could be devoted to the game, but it was impossible to group when I had to drop everything to pick up the phone or deal with an occaisional emergency.  Double boxing allowed me to adventure in areas that were unsoloable, but it could not make up for the experience that operating in full groups would give.  The fact that you have characters in the 50's is really great.  Most of my characters spread accross two accounts were stuck in their mid-twenties.  I got bored playing the same toons every night, and used all of my account's slots to provide veriety.  They upgraded my analog phone line to digital, and I could neither connect to my modem nor play through a corporate firewall.  I cancelled my SOE accounts, and stopped playing at work.

Don't feel all alone.  I think many of us experience this.  its what makes SOD so great.  Your not paying a fee.  Yes the game IS for you!  You just need to take a break.

Guildwars is pretty casual, and no monthly charge, but you get all the scum that goes with a game like that.

Guild Wars also isn't really an MMORPG. It's instanced, so I'm not sure you can call that an MMORPG unless you want to call Diablo 2 an MMORPG.

It's also not that much fun to play by yourself.

World of Warcraft is a game that you can play up to the max lvl completely solo if you pick the right class and is pretty easy in general. This is for the most part why I didnt like it, but it seems to be up a lotof peoples alley who are looking for what you seem to be

ps. Choose a hunter for easy soloage

Any class can get to 60 solo in WoW.... You just have to know the builds (even with bad builds you can still solo)

I dont know why you are telling me/us this all either.

You think it is sad that you have some of the oldest toons on the server, but I think it is sad you have some of the oldest toons on the server who havent cracked lvl 65.

so /shrug

It is all what you want. If you want to play and progress then great. If you just want to play and enjoy the ride when able, then great.

If you dont enjoy it, then great as well, best of luck to you in future endeavors.

Dont be so fuckig emo

It is just a game

You think this game takes brains?
Have you been to Happyland?

This game just takes baing a social retard, and you win.

See your local raid guild for proof.

But you're of course the exception, right?
