Perfect Cover bug?

I seem to be stuck.

I am at ally faction.
I have blowgun and muddy sheild
Gertund the trapper will not speak to me
He returns items when I give them to him

Any help appreciated.

Is this the tradeskilling quest? Try use say and words like tradeskilling and tailoring. Think its something like that to trigger it.
 
The 5 tradeskill quests are all connected with the same followup quest. Have you started one of the other 5 and not finished? Are you on the followup quest and not finished with it? Have you done the dialogue prior to the part with Gertund?
 
I have done the dialogue prior to the part with Gertund, if that is what I think. I have talked to Historion Galka and said "Tailor" and he told me to talk to Gertund.

Im thinking it may be one of those other tradeskill quests.

I did some of the food quests for faction. I probably left one or more incompleted. Im guessing that I have to finish this all before I can start the tailoring quest?

Im pretty sure that I have not started the followup quest.
