Quest: Path of the Cult Priest

Situation: I incubated the four ponds of water as instructed, and on the fourth one, Sorel spawned. I began to fight him, but since fighting underwater sucks, I brought him on land. But before I could finish him off, a guard (we were on Athica) came to my "rescue" and killed him. As a result, Vanissa won't proceed with the rest of the quest dialogue. Help, pretty please?

Have you tried spawning him again? I believe that should work.

Ah, it works! Dunno if you changed anything, but yesterday, killing fishes in North Newport didn't do anything, but today, killing a centaur in Centaur Hills spawned Sorel.
