Patcher stopped completely

I tried to use the patcher today to play and when i hit patch and run, it said getting patch list... and i waited... for 5 hours while i played Xbox and it was still getting the patch list. any help? When i try to just go to the game, it goes to the world login screen and it says i cant connect to the world. one more thing do i need to update everquest AND SoD or just SoD? thank for any help

Did you check the stickies in this section? See this one for a possible fix. I find that deleting files.txt solves a multitude of sins.

I got it, my files.txt had a read-only tag on it, and it couldnt be patched. it works. :dance:
