Hello. I am trying to get SoD to work for the first time and am having problems with the patcher.
I have all the original files installed and patched up through Lost Dungeons.
When I run SoDpatcher.exe it starts up just fine and begins downloading files and the blue progress bar begins moving across the box. It got stuck and no matter what I tried, it would not download eqgame.exe. I browsed the forum and found a complete patch zip up through May 26th. I extracted that and then ran the patcher again and now I am running into the same problem. This time it is with the file spells_us.txt. The patcher says "patching: spells_us.txt" but the blue progress bar never moves. I let it just sit there and see if it was really slow but still nothing after an hour.
Any idea what is wrong or how I can fix it? I read Wiz's thread about stalling patchers and tried both of his fixes but I don't think they applied to me since Im still having problems and I wasnt getting either of the errors he specified (File inconsitency error and getting file list error).
