Patcher Bug

[CHRIS_TULLIO]

when i click patch and run on my SoD Patcher it just says, "Patching: generalcommands.html" and does not progress =/

I have tried, deleting both,

File Txt Doc
&
Generalcommands.html (located in eq\help)

repatched all and it just patches those files back in and leave me at square one.

Try shutting down any anti-virus/firewall, if that doesn't help just patch it manually... http://shardsofdalaya.com/patch_files.zip then bypass the patcher by changing the target in your SoD Shortcut to \eqgame.exe" patchme
instead of sodpatcher.exe

You still haven't fixed this yet? What damn OS are you running, is the windows firewall turned on? is DEP turned on? If so turn both of those off. DEP is in, right click my computer, properties, advanced tab, performance settings button, data execution prevention tab, First checkbox, Turn on DEP for essential windows programs and services only.

Its patching as we speak! what ever that DEP is, changing it to the setting worked =D
