Partial Loading Screen...

For some reason, my loading screen is messed up. It's like this on my brother's laptop too. It will only show about 2/3 of the picture and have it centered... which looks really trashy. Anybody know how to fix this? It's not a serious issue, just kind of annoying. Here's an image of what I'm talking about...

lawl you're using the UI I made, what graphic card do you two have? If you're having issues just repatch and it'll overwrite the UI, (partially), SoD's current UI doesn't include every window. Hopefully that'll fix your loading screen.

If you want to keep the UI, and hopefully fix the screen just redownload it http://files.filefront.com/SoDUIzip/;6851999;/fileinfo.html, paste them into your EQ folder.

My graphics card is an NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GS. I have the most recent drivers for it too.
I just tried repatching it and got the same thing. :-(

No, it's a different image (the original loading screen image)... but the same problem. It's been like this ever since I started playing SoD (2 years ago). Also, the target ring doesn't work, but that's not a biggie either. :-/

The weird thing is that I play on the ProjectEQ server occasionally and I don't have this problem at all. In fact, the target ring even works for me in ProjectEQ. I have 2 separate folders, one for SoD and one for ProjectEQ, both originally installed with the Titanium version. SoD has a roll-back patch though and I'm wondering if it's just not as compatable with some graphic cards as ProjectEQ.

ProjectEQ uses a different client than SoD, which is the reason their target ring works. What resolution are you running the client in? Are your graphic card settings set all the way down to performance?

I'm running at a resolution of 1280x1024.
I just tried lowering my graphic card setting all the way down to the "Performance" level, but I'm still getting the same thing.

I asked if they were set to "performance" because sometimes cards do a crappier job at drawing objects to screen in an effort to increase FPS. I really have no clue why it's not centered correctly. :psyduck:
