Paladin Tanking Gear

Alright. I've scoured high and low for accessible upgrades for my Paladin to help with me being the 2ndary tank for my raid group. My goal is to get as best of gear as I can that doesnt require a raiding environment. (Exception of VD and D maps.) I've been trying to get pants/boots from VDs but no luck thus far (speaking of, I am buying VDs if anyone has any.)

Subb has most of the best droppable equipment available for a paladin.

There are a few emberflow items not on subb that you could use:
Argent carapace gauntlets?, Gloves with nice stats + mana cons 5

tbh I think you have a decent setup. The emberflow stuff will generally cost you a mighty chunk of change. So would a shield of freeport. Which would be decent for you, but unless you're taking down the quest yourself, you're looking at 10k +. The ring of warding is very nice, but unless you get really lucky, its raaaaarrrrrrreeeeeee.

How do you feel about entry level raidmobs, since vd maps aren't out? Gnokk's ring might be worthwhile to pickup. You might be able to convince a couple of higher end people to help pop him for you if you know any, or it should be relatively easy for a guild doing se, like a 2 group kinda deal.

Well my guild is about on the PoT level and we raid about twice a week, and we are in the whole "learning everything and it's mother stage", I am just trying to make everything easier and at this point that pretty much entails getting as many AAs as possible. (And trying to get the guildies that actually log on for things besides raids AAs)
