Paladin /s 7

/s 7 stance on paladin isn't exactly reliable and it's stamina drain is too fast if the stamina drain was lessened and adding in a certain % of channeling focus to the stance to reduce spell cast interruptions.

Honestly the only time I've ever actually found it useful is when tanking multiple mana drain mobs at once and that was prior to even having divine stun AA's.

I'd even favor changing it all together to pure channeling focus stance so pal could more easilyy ae blind/stun/nuke more successfully without interrupt after interrupt after interrupt which are particularly aggravating on mobs that summon.

I don't know about you but I find /s 7 to be a godsend during emergencies where you have more than 6 mobs on you.

well I know about me, and I find it to be completely worthless compared to /s 4 in any type of emergency.

I generally don't find /s 7 useful. I'm not quite sure what the +aggro is on the proc but it isn't enough to warrant using it instead of /s 4 or even /s 3.

/s 7 is a worthless pile of poo

Just about anything would be more useful. MIght as well give paladins /s 7 stance a Summon Beer Proc, at least I might use it then.

hell ya! man kirin, you always have a good ideas, i like this one in particular! but seriously, /s 7 proc rate is miniscule, the aggro it adds also seems pretty damn low and the stamina drain is insanely severe. if it was at least reduced to the rate of current /s 4 it would be bearable imo. but the beer summoning is even more cool

lol /s 7 is incredibly useful ive found, especially when you dont always have good crowd control, or you are the crowd control. Its the perfect tool to pull in those loosely aggroed mobs from the squishy people in your group. Sometimes it procs right off the bat, sometimes it goes off late, but rarely does it never proc while i still have a sta bar.

Its not perfectly reliable, but a certain percentage of the time it does make my job easier.

This is a perfect example of how "statistics" can be used to make a worthless argument sound real. I would like to subscribe to your newsletter so that I may know the secret "certain percentage". Although, I am guessing it is between 1% and 5%, what a wonderful use of ALL of your stamina for a proc or two!

Seriously though, the situation you described is when you use single target agro to pull the few loose mobs onto you while staying in a defensive stance so you don't get pounded by them.
