Any chance we can get lay hands to have the same targeting asa group hot does?
By this I mean so that if you have a mob targeted it will lay hands you and not the mob?
And still be able to cast it on other people?

Getting lay hands to go of when its vital is very hard. Not only do you have to get yourself targeted fast you also have to mash it a few times for it to go off. I've died many times only to respawn with my lay hands hotkey bugged out where I then have to mash mouse buttons untill the hot key bar frees up.

You can make a macro can't you?

/target (name)

/doabil # and set LoH on your abilities bar?

I just have it as number 1 in my hotkeys. So when someone is going to die, hit whichever F key they are, and spam 1 until it goes off. Simples.
