Starting a friend on WR, and he is having problems zoning into Paineel(valley of erimal). He apparantly doesnt have the zone files, and Im not sure what "expansion" they are in. I thought they were in the "basic set" but he clearly has that, and others up to Luclin, with optional zone.

Any help woudl be appreciated, thanks.

Well Paineel came around between Kunark and Velious if i remember right... but anyway, i think it was an optional zone, if he wants it he should patch ALL the files make back up of ui and eqgame first of course.... should get it
 
Yep, it is definitely an OPTIONAL zone, along with most of Odus. i saw it download when i had to get new files for the Warrens to fix that problem with the kobolds looking like humans.
 
I think a number of the zones were re-textured with LoY, which is probably the reason.
 
On one of my PC's I installed everquest completely from download throught the patcher. None of the advanced textures were downloaded that were found on the SoL disk. Methinks you just need to re-run the EQlive patcher - might as well select every expansion to download for ;)
