Othmir Illusion

I've been grouping with a few enchanters recently and playing with illusions more than I usually do. This got me thinking, why can't I be an Othmir? So maybe it would be possible to add either an illusion to Enchanters that would enable them to cast it, or maybe a lovely little item with a clicky effect? The illusion doesn’t have to do anything great or amazing mind, a simple illusion would be great. I’m not sure how much work this’d require though, or if it’d mean making the Othmir model global, but a suggestion none the less.

You know the Othmir have the greatest music too^^
 
I've always heard that any enchanter illusion spell has to be in the global models, which terribly limited the forms they could use.

I wonder though, one of your first illusion spells (Minor Illusion) makes you look like the nearest inanimate object. Would it be possible to get around the global file limitation for illusions by having your target assume the form of the nearest animate object, i.e. the closest monster or NPC? That way you could illusion someone as an Othmir but only in Wyvernfang, or as a barracuda in Siren's Grotto, etc. Absolutely no game effect except the look, no regen, no speed, nothing. Except unlike the minor illusion, you would be able to move.
 
Othmir don't seem to work when we try to load them outside their zone, we actually had an idea along these lines.
 
That's a damn shame that...Ah well, thanks for the speedy response! I guess i'll just spend any down time I have in Wyvernfang Coast then^^
